Gutter + Roof Cleaning

Gutter Cleaning

Clogged and over-full gutters can lead to long problems across the home including damaging the joints of the gutter system, dripping water onto the walls and foundation, or damage and flooding of your garden below.

We recommend annual or biannual gutter cleaning to remove debris build up and keep your system flowing.

Roof Cleaning

Falling leaves and winter storms can cause debris build up on your roof which can lead to clogged gutters, damage roofing shingles, and can simply be unsightly.

If you have mature trees near your home, you may benefit from roof cleaning, included with our gutter cleaning services, to keep your roof free of build-up.

Whats Included

Trailhead City Window Cleaning's Gutter Cleaning Service includes clearing and inspecting the entire above ground gutter system.  We will clean any debris build-up by hand from all the gutters on the house, remove debris from the roof by use of an handheld blower, inspect all above ground downspouts up until the foundation of the home, flush the above ground gutter system with a hose, and finish with a light ground clean up to remove excess debris that fell during the cleaning process.

If your home's gutter cleaning system continues below ground via underground drains, we also recommend adding on routine underground gutter drain cleaning to care for your entire gutter system at the same time!

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I have my gutters cleaned?

The frequency of gutter cleaning your house needs can depend upon the amount and type of vegetation you have surrounding your home. In general, annual or biannual cleaning is sufficient for the majority of homes, but excessively wooded areas may require more frequent cleaning.

Do I need my gutters cleaned if I have a cover?

There's unfortunately no such thing as maintenance free gutters, even if you have screens, covers, guards, or any other protection. While these devices can help slow down the build up of material, debris will still collect and penetrate into the gutters. Screens and covers often make the task of gutter cleaning more difficult but still possible. The main difference is that we do not remove any type of covers to clean the gutters so we will manually clear debris from the top of the cover. Different types of gutter covers have unique cleaning needs. Contact us with details about your situation and we can develop a cleaning plan from there.

Can you clear clogs that are in my underground gutter drains?

Yes, we can! Regular gutter cleaning services include cleaning and inspecting the entire above ground gutter system, but if your home has underground gutter drains, we also offer drain cleaning services as well. You can read more about this service here. Regular maintenance of your underground gutter drains is just as important as your above ground gutter system, so we highly recommend annual cleaning to prevent clogs and backflows that can damage your gutter system or other parts of your home.
