Window Cleaning

Services Offered

Window Glass

Most people don't question the need for routine vacuuming and wiping down surfaces to remove dust and debris from their homes, but that same debris can build up on our window glass - both inside and outside the home - and over time will reduce the visibility of your view and even wear away at the glass that protects and insulates your home.

Routine professional glass cleaning helps remove dust, pollen, dander, and any other environmental build-up on the surface better than standard home cleaning products and protects your investment and the life of your windows.

At Trailhead City Window Cleaning, we wash all windows by hand with a gentle soft brush, a squeegee clean, and a detail wipe down of the seals to prevent any streaks or smudges on the glass.

We only use an organic, non-toxic cleaning solution that is safe for people, pets, and plants. It is certified by the EPA Safe Choice seal yet produces a powerful clean!

Window Screens

Screens are the first line of defense keeping dirt, debris, and bugs from entering the home, which means that they can  quickly fill up with these unwanted particles impeding your view and deteriorating the quality of your screen material over time. Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to have windows washed?

Spring through autumn is the peak season for window washing and we are often booked out a few weeks in advance during this time of year. Many people also like to have their windows washed before events or holidays they are hosting at their homes. That being said, we wash windows year-round, rain or shine, so feel free to reach out no matter what time of year it is!

The only time we would recommend not having your windows washed is if you have any upcoming home projects that could dirty the freshly cleaned windows such as painting, pressure washing or gutter cleaning. We suggest scheduling your cleaning service immediately after these projects are completed to remove any potential overspray that could have built up on your windows.

How often should I have my windows washed?

In general, it is best to have your windows cleaned professionally once or twice per year. However, depending on certain factors such as proximity to large bodies of water (especially salt water) and high-speed or gravel roads, nearby vegetation, and recent home projects, you may wish to have more frequent cleaning to maintain your clear view from build up and protect the life of your windows.

Will the rain leave spots on my clean windows?

Rain does not leave any spots or smearing on your glass because the water droplets are pure and do not contain any minerals or added elements. It is the water from our tap and wells that leaves behind hard water stains so we recommend reducing or eliminating exposure from hoses, sprinklers, dripping gutters, or any other source of water spray to protect your glass

Will window washing remove my hard water stains?

Traditional window cleaning can remove very light layers of mineral build up but is usually not enough to remove the baked on spots left behind from hard water. This requires an extra level of cleaning from an industrial grade acid to break down the build up from the glass. Trailhead City Window Cleaning does not currently offer this as a service.
